Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 July 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at robostream.life (the "Site") operated by RoboStream Inc. ("RoboStream", "we", "us"), a corporation with registered address at 825 11 Avenue SW, Suite 105, Calgary, Alberta T2R 0E4, Canada. By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Alberta for disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site, subject to applicable consumer protection laws that may provide otherwise.

2. Nature of RoboStream

RoboStream Inc. is a professional robotics and AI engineering services firm. We design, consult on, prototype and integrate live sensor and perception pipelines, computer vision, sensor fusion, fleet telemetry and related robotics systems for client organizations in Canada and North America.

Brand clarification: The domain suffix ".life" is branding only. RoboStream is not a lifestyle, wellness or coaching brand. "Robo" means applied robotics for industrial and logistics organizations. "Stream" means live robot sensor, perception and telemetry data — not video entertainment, media streaming or broadcast services. RoboStream is not cognistream.life or any unrelated "stream" product.

RoboStream is not a robot retail store or reseller, a military or weapons robotics firm, a covert-surveillance service, a robotics course or academy, a get-rich automation scheme, a general LLM consultancy without robotics focus, or a standalone SaaS product you sign up for through this Site.

3. No professional guarantees

Site content is provided for general information about our engineering services. It does not constitute legal advice, safety certification, regulatory compliance advice or a guarantee of project outcomes. Robotic systems are safety-critical. Any deployment requires proper risk assessment, compliance with applicable safety standards (such as ISO 10218 and CSA requirements relevant to your jurisdiction), physical guarding, testing and ongoing human oversight.

AI and robotic systems can fail, mis-perceive their environment or behave unexpectedly — especially in edge cases and when moving from simulation to the real world. RoboStream does not guarantee full autonomy, zero downtime, specific throughput, cost savings, complete safety or error-free perception. Case studies, metrics and examples on the Site describe past or illustrative contexts and are not promises of future performance.

We work only on lawful, non-weapon, non-covert-surveillance applications. Clients retain responsibility for on-site safety engineering and regulatory compliance.

4. Engineering services & contracts

Specific robotics-AI consulting, integration, retainer and partnership work is governed by separate written agreements (statements of work, master services agreements or similar). Where a signed contract conflicts with these Terms regarding paid services, the contract prevails. Nothing on the Site obligates RoboStream to accept any engagement.

Indicative CAD budget ranges published on the Site are estimates only, not binding quotes. Final scope and fees are defined in project documentation after discovery.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful services;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks;
  • transmit malware, spam or automated scraping that impairs Site operation;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation in enquiries;
  • reproduce, republish or commercially exploit Site content without written permission.

We may suspend access for conduct that violates these Terms or poses security risk.

6. Intellectual property

Site content — including text, layout, design elements, logos and the "The Current" visual system — is owned by RoboStream Inc. or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. Trademarks and trade names remain the property of their respective owners.

Client deliverables and IP allocation for paid engagements are defined in project contracts, not in these Terms.

7. Third-party links & tools

The Site may reference or link to third-party resources (for example, standards bodies, open-source projects or privacy authorities). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By submitting a contact form, you consent to processing as described there, in accordance with PIPEDA.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ROBOSTREAM INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR RELIANCE ON SITE CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (C$100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING CERTAIN CONSUMER PROTECTION PROVISIONS).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for paid engineering services except as set out in the applicable project contract.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoboStream Inc. from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms or infringement of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

12. Changes

We may revise these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Severability & entire agreement

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding Site use, superseding prior understandings on that subject.
